Our Mission

Roy’L Acres Farm is a small family run business. Our goal is to grow a variety of produce that is natural, GMO free, pesticide free and grown completely without the use of chemicals. We use only organic practices and strive to operate with sustainable methods. Our use of companion planting allows nature to do what it does best. Our practices enrich our soil, our plants, our plates, our bodies and our planet. We are passionate about growing vegetables that taste the way nature intended; full of colour and flavour and that remind us of what real food is. As local producers we aspire to have a close relationship with our community and our consumers, to provide transparency and understanding of where food comes from and how it is grown. As we continue to grow we realize that being a small-scale producer is essential in staying true to our practices, the quality of our produce and maintaining a personal relationship with our community.
Life at Roy'L Acres Farm

Roy'L Acres is the heart and home of Roy and Ginny Love. Their passion for excellence shows in abundance around their 100 acre property. Their lush gardens are bursting with richness, colour and scent. Spring is an exciting time for Roy and Ginny, preparing the gardens, sowing the seeds and watching the first shoots sprout. Roy and Ginny have both the art and the talent for growing. With zeal and tenacity they have brought a beautiful, nutritious and tasteful product from their garden to the table.
Ginny and Roy’s daughter Cassie and her husband Jeremy Austin joined the business and farm in 2012 after returning from Montreal. Cassie and Jeremy are passionate and dedicated to learning about organic gardening. Jeremy, an experienced chef, is inspired by fresh, beautiful, and flavourful food. Both Jeremy and Cassie have experience in the restaurant trade and hope to combine their experience from the restaurant industry and the farm to help bring local restaurants in their community naturally grown food.
At Roy’l Acres Farm we support eating fresh local food which is beneficial to our health, our planet and our taste buds. All of Roy'L Acres products are grown organically and sustainably with pleasure. We hope that our passion for eating fresh local food will inspire others to do the same.

Working with Local Farms & Restaurants
At Roy'L Acres we believe by working collectively to support one another, and by providing accessible fresh, local products to our communities we strengthen and improve the quality of life for everyone.
Beginning this year (2014) Roy'L Acres has facilitated relationships between neighbouring growers and local restaurants. Chefs customize a garden suited to their menus and the farmers grow them for the specific restaurant using only organic practises. Chefs are able to visit the farms, observe the growth of their produce and be involved in the whole farm to table process. We are excited about this new collaboration and look forward to watching it flourish in years to come.
We hope to strengthen the relationships between the people who grow our food and the people who
make it and eat it! Stay tuned to find out more...
